Comet is a trading ERP for commodity and refractory minerals. It is a white-labelled Odoo 18 platform, extended for physical trading and presented as a dedicated desk, so the accounting, documents and stock moves are real rather than a front-end.
What Comet is
Comet runs the full lifecycle of a physical trade — inquiry, pricing, contracts, procurement, warehousing, shipping, invoicing and accounting — on a single record. It is built for Swiss and German trading houses dealing in refractory and commodity minerals, with documents in English and German by entity and dual currency, USD and EUR, on every figure.
Underneath, Comet is a white-labelled Odoo 18 platform. That means full double-entry accounting, native documents and real stock moves, rather than a dashboard over spreadsheets. The trade compliance engine is a separate add-on that reads shipping documents against the letter of credit and can be installed or removed on its own.
